When Josh and Breana visited coastal Volusia County in 2018, they immediately fell in love with the area. They moved to Ormond by the Sea in 2019 and quickly established themselves in the community. They started Tropical Akers as a simple way to offer vacation rental management to friends and family, but the more conversations they had with owners, building managers, and associations, they quickly realized a need for simple and effective management in the area. Tropical Akers offers a management style structure that provides transparency and profit to their clients. Tropical Akers offers customizable management plans to meet every owner's unique needs.
Josh has an extensive background in sales, finance, customer service, and solution management. He has spent the last 15 years in business and consumer management helping businesses grow from the bottom up. He started in the food and hospitality industry and has held positions across the country with some of the nation's largest brands, including BMW, Infiniti, and Chase Bank. He specializes in analyzing client needs and providing unique solutions that fit the client's budget. He is also a licensed Community Association Manager and provides consultations to homeowners and condo association boards upon request.
Breana's background is in solution implementation and organizational management. In addition to 10 years as an educator, she has over a decade of experience in the real estate industry. Together, these created an exceptional ability to identify problems, outline solutions, and communicate and coordinate an effective game plan. She is a licensed real estate agent, a member of the National Association of Realtors®, and part of the DB Coastal Homes at Adams Cameron real estate team.
